Seagulls. I have seen for myself how different icons can appear from one monitor to another. These might turn out entirely too light for some of you. If you are interested, I can make them a little darker for you. Just so you know. Enough talk.
I don't know if I've said this, ever, but i am in awe of your icon making skills. I tend to use my icons as unofficial mood icons when posting comments, so I don't really use stock icons, but these are amazing, as usual.
Wizzy strikes again! I love these. I didn't know I needed a seagull icon until I saw these, but how did I manage without one? These are absolutely fantastic. The textured background that gives a pseudo-cloud effect, the open mouths and spread wings, even the little snippets of text. Perfect. I was just thinking I needed a new icon, too. And they'll be prefect for a fic I'm thinking about, if I ever get it written. You're a mind-reader!
Ok, almost perfect. They're a bit pale for me. I like sharper contrasts. (You're surprised, I know. *g*) Could you take one or two and do something to them? I dunno. This is your department, not mine. :-) Something to make them brighter, so they don't fade out as much? How about the first one first row, or maybe one of the two middle ones in the second row (6 or 7, I think). Just pick one, you don't need to change all of them. I always feel bad making you do extra work for me, but you notice that doesn't stop me from asking! Because I love what you do so much. *schmooch* Thanks, chickadee!
Nope, that's wonderful. The birds stand out a bit more now, and I love them even more because of it. It's absolutely stunning work, wiz, and I love the way your background textures just catch the birds in motion. Highlight them, so to speak. And thank you, thank you for indulging me once again! I really appreciate it. Now I just have to figure out which one to use! Maybe that will end up being "which ones." *g*
I don't recall how I stumbled here, but tonight I've paged through your history and saved a number of icons as well as textures. you do beautiful work, and I certainly will credit when I use any of what I have saved. :)
