Uhm... barely restrained myself from a snappy retort to that; suddenly remembering this is not the right place for that *giggles*
Oh, you didn't think I'd practically lived with Tinetroll (and her hubby *g*) for all these years and NOT being forced into loving lighthouses?? I've even made a few glass ones for them...
*lol* I was more worried about offending you, my love; with a clever remark to your comparising between lighthouses and you know... uhm... erected... thingies and recent experiences and so on... *ggg* Let's take that another time ;)
*skulks off, still giggling*
Voice from above: Never mind her, Wiz; it's spring... She's fairly harmless; just a bit dirty minded p.t ;)
And last time I saw that nr 12 it barely had it's top over the sand... I think I know nr 13 too, is it from Skagen? But the rest I don't think I know... LOL
I LOVE lighthouses! And those pics are simply beautiful! Too bad I'm living hundreds of kilometres from the coast.:-((( *snatches a couple for her icon collection*
I have a somewhat unreasoning distaste for lighthouses (like hearts and red roses *g*), possibly because they're so kitschy in the US - along those lines of massively overdone, woman-feel-good-like teddy bears sort of thing, but I must say you've come closer to making me see some beauty in them than anyone else has. That sounds like a rather curmudgeonly comment, but I think you know I mean it as a compliment.
Oh, I do take it as a compliment, believe me. Tell you the truth I was thinking about you when I made them, snickering and wondering what you'd make of it :D
I was trying hard to make something that wouldn't automatically bring thoughts of a young, beautiful couple in love, running hand in hand through a field with flowers, laughing, accompanied by the sound of violins.... you get my draft. But it was practically impossible to find something decent to work with. So I decided to take it all the way with pink sunsets instead.
They are very...er...erect buildings ;)
That's so cool. Might that be the last one by any chance?
But they are very...erect and potent. Sorta.
*grins*

*hums* "the crazy things we do for love..." LOL
Didn't mean to offend, love.
Sorry.

I hope you have fun over there. Of course you have.
Looking forward to hearing about it.

Should have known.
:)
Am a bit puzzled by it, but I figure it has to do with the shape ;)
Thanks :)
And you're welcome -
I like later. Means you'll be back :D
And thanks :)
Glad you like -

Believe me, I know what you mean ;)
Am pleased you found something you can use:)
